Career:
Ryo graduated with an LL.B. from the University of Tokyo in 1999 and an LL.M. from The University of Chicago Law School in 2006.
He worked at Ropes & Gray LLP in Boston and New York from 2006 to 2008. He has also been a member of the contracts supervisory committee of Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) since 2010 and a part-time lecturer (civil law) at the legal department of the University of Tokyo from 2014 to 2015.
